A Really Lucky Catch!

Congratulations to our sweet friends Marc and Christina!
The wedding included a surprise ceremony on the boat, great food, fantastic friends and yes another flash mob dance. It just doesn't get any better than this!

Go Lancers!

Lucky Catch!

Lobstering in Maine with my guys was so much fun! Not only did the boys look adorable in the big orange waders and gloves, but they both jumped right in to help.

James prepping the bait for the traps.

Luke banding the claws.

Could he be any cuter in those oversized gloves?

Although my favorite part was eating our catch. Yum yum!

Bear-claws

We felt like donuts the other day, and in paticular the Turner family needed some bear-claws. There are painfully few donut shops in our area, so we settled for some from Shoppers. To make it more exciting we had a trio-dessert with 2 slices of bear-claws and a scoop of ice-cream. Yum!
Luke shares my sweet tooth, and has since asked to use the red plates so he can have more donuts. Silly guy!

James, also now a big fan of bear-claws.

Sweet guys!

And finally, why we had to get bear-claws....check out James:

Surprise Visitors

We loved seeing Michael and Kate this weekend! What a fun surprise! James got really excited and even inducted them into our "family" names joke. The best part, we might get to see them in NYC next weekend. This summer is awesome!

Wedding Weekend in Sonoma

What a wonderful weekend we had in Sonoma celebrating the marriage of our dear friend Allison to her sweetheart Doug!

We loved seeing so many of our wonderful friends from high school. SF Lancers, you guys rock!
Favorites from this weekend include great food, great wine and one amazing wedding reception. Funniest part of the whole weekend was when I said a blessing during the ceremony my dress pulled a Marilyn and flew up in the breeze. Those seated around me quickly grabbed it and helped me regain some semblance of dignity. Ha!

Congratulations Allie and Doug!

The beautiful Mister and Missus.

These two can throw a great party. And we surprised them with a flash mob dance....hilarious! Check us out, but be nice and not mention my crazy dance moves.

Continue on the motorway

My mom's GPS is hysterical....British accent and all! On our way into Turlock I heard "continue on the motorway" so many times. The boys were sweeties during the long drive, and it was so worth it because we saw some really cool people.

We got to visit with some more kiddos and one of my dearest friends Stacy. The kids had a blast playing with new toys, new friends and we even had a hula-hoop contest. Stacy is the reigning champion. I need to start practicing!

A little "silly face"...

...and now the "smiley face". Again, hysterical! These kids crack me up!

We were really brave and tried for a group picture. Yeah, that wasn't going to happen.

Thanks for the fun day Parker family!

New Friends!

Luke and I ventured out today to see some "new friends". So far the only friends we have visited here in California were adults. Fun, but just not the same as kids according to my youngest. Today he was so excited when I said our new friends were little boys.

Here is my beautiful friend Kim and her adorable boys. We rode a train and a carousal and even had a picnic lunch. Heaven!

There is something about 2 year old boys that makes them not want to smile.

Except when I tickle their tummy!

We had so much fun!

Cousin Time

Look who's in town for the weekend!
Loved this sweet park! Danny the Dragon came with us.

James taught Patrick a new trick.
Sweet cousins playing together.

So glad we got to see Patrick today!

Happy Hollow

Highlights from our trip to Happy Hollow:
*Luke insisted on riding the ladybugs, and then held tight to James with one hand, and an antennae with his free hand.
*James insisted on ridding the Frog Hopper (read vomit inducing kiddie ride). He hated the entire thing and was so relieved to get off.
*They both LOVED "driving" cars.
*The biggest tree house ever! James would not leave.
*Luke flying on an eagle on the Merry-go-round.
*Feeding the goats and farm animals (not picture). Luke almost lost his hand in a goats mouth because he was so excited.

Luke has already requested a ride on the "dragon train" this morning. Looks like we will be going back again soon!
