6 Month Visit and this and that
Today was James' 6 month doctors visit. He was very good for the entire visit even though it took almost an hour for the doctor to finally see us...ugh! To pass the time we sat him on the table and he played with the white paper and loved to hear it crinkle. James is doing very well and the doctor remarked at how strong he is, and asked whether John or I was the athlete in the family. Ha! I think the best athlete in our family is Zion. Maybe James takes after his Uncle Morgan or his Uncle Jim. I think they are probably the best athletes in the family.
And now the moment you have all been waiting for....here are the stats:
Height: 28 inches (75%)
Weight: 19 pounds, 4 ounces (75%)
In other news:
* James now has 3 teeth! Two on the bottom and one poking through on top.
*He has tried rice cereal, oatmeal, and now we are introducing squash. Yum!
*He can drink out of an adult drinking cup when assisted. So far he has just had a sip of Mommy or Daddy's water.
*He is really reaching for people that he knows not just Mommy and Daddy! He recognized and reached for Emily (Eli's mom) and also for two of the ladies in the nursery (Enid and Deborah) that are his favorites.
That's all the Turner news for now! Have a great day!

I bet you and John were two proud parents with all the good news about our big healthy athletic boy. James is really strong and that "turning action spin" of his will be good for sporting adventures. I can have Paige's SF lettermans jacket, cheerleading uniforms and pompoms in the mail when you need them.
He is so advanced in everything (weight, teeth, drinking/eating...) You must be so proud!!!!
Oh my goodness he is getting so big! It must be all of that KFC you have been feeding him - it is even baby's first abbreviation in the bath photos.
-Morgan
Loved the part about athletics - grrr - go James go!
I love James!
Thanks Mom! Although John and I both agree that James probably won't need my cheerleading uniform. Ha! And for that matter I probably shouldn't be wearing that anymore either....that skirt was short!
