A good friend of mine recently posted her childhood glamour shot on her blog, which got me thinking. I wonder if I have a copy of my old glamour shot. You know, the one where they put a lot of make-up on you and dress you up to look very old and sophisticated. I remember being so excited about going to get my make-up done to look like a movie star.
One day we got a coupon in the mail, and my mother was very sweet and indulged me. I think the coupon got us one 8x10, because really how much glamour can one person take. So -- by "official request" -- below is the final product; the best picture we took home with us.

YAY! Glad you posted! I can't believe you were a 6th grader on this! Whoo hoo!!!!!
As you remember I said the same thing to the photographer/make up artist as Emily's mom. She's only in 6th grade so don't use a lot of makeup. I think this is the only copy of the picture because we only got the free 8x10.
Very pretty! I always wondered about that picture... You do look like a movie star - 6th grade?! I can't believe it!
Hope you are doing well - we have a happy pic of you and James in his bunny suit on our fridge.
:o) Julia
Its an ageless, timeless, glamorous picture, I suppose...
