The other day I was busy working on the computer, and to keep James happy I handed him the cordless phone. He smiled so big when I handed it to him, and immediately took off. I figured it was pretty harmless. A few minutes later the phone rang. I took the phone out of James' hand and answered it to find a very confused sounding John. The conversation went something like this:
John: Why did James just call me?
Paige: James just called you? How did James call you?
John: James definitely just called my cell phone, talked to me for 30 seconds and then hung up.
It is true, James did call John. Apparently he is the smartest little guy ever to memorize Daddy's cell phone number and dial all 10 digits on a telephone. Or maybe he got lucky and hit redial and it just happened to call Daddy. What do you think?

What a cute story. James is a very smart boy and probably called John to find out what time he was coming home. I know he loves his daddy.

I'm just hoping it wasn't option number 3 - James remembered the acronym for John's phone number.
Sorry to hear my little buddy is under the weather but it was definitely him who got me sick, not the other way around. I only break dogs, not babies. Speaking of which, how is ZiZi doing?

Hysterical - word of caution - a little boy we know through acquaintance somehow learned how to dial 911. They are now being fined for calling without an emergency. Oops!
