My last ice cream cone

Here I am this past weekend with my much anticipated two scoop in a sprinkle cone dessert. Oh my goodness was it delicious! But based on some of the comments I have received recently, this may be my last for a while....here are some comments I received on Sunday alone:

Lady #1 at church: Wow, how did THAT happen?
Me: (speechless)

Lady #2 at church: How exciting, are you having twins?
Me: No, just one big boy.
Lady # 2 at church: Are you sure?
Me: (smile and fake laugh)

Random lady at Costco: Wow, you must be due any day now!
Me: He's due in October.
Random lady: Are you sure?
Me: That's what my doctors tell me.
Random lady at Costco: They must be wrong.

Random lady at Costco #2: I have twins too, they are so much fun!
Me: Oh, it's just one baby boy.
Random lady at Costco #2: I wasn't that big until I was in labor.
Me: (fake smile)

Random dude at Costco: Wooah, let me get out of your way. (He stepped to the side of the aisle so I could pass. Note the extremely extra wide aisle at Costco was empty.)
Me: (fake smile)

In more exciting news, we have a new front runner for the name of our second little boy. Right now our favorite is Luke William Turner. We have been waiting to post about it because we have changed our minds so many times, but this one is really a favorite for both of us so I think it is safe to post. Can't wait to meet our newest little guy!

It's amazing what people will say. You are looking great! That was one amazing ice cream cone.
I'm so glad the weather is so comfortable so you and James can spend time outside. I can't get over how big James is getting.

I can't believe how ridicules people are! You look great...all baby/belly, just like with James. I say you start messing with people and tell them you're not even pregnant. Then maybe they'll think twice before spouting off.

Try not to let baby-crazy ladies and their funny behaviors get under your skin. You and John have big, smart, healthy babies. That requires a big, healthy belly. You look beautiful. We can't wait to meet Luke! ~ love, Julia

I LOVE the baby name! So sweet!

And what is it with people around here?!?! They are so daggone rude! You look fantastic and don't let anyone let you think any different!

Oh...and ps....DEFINITELY don't quit on the ice cream. Amy is right...you are all baby/belly.

Oh honey ... you eat that ice cream cone. If it makes you feel better I am in the same boat. Everyone tells me, "Oh there is no way you are going to make it to your due date, you are already huge." Thanks peeps ... and BTW this was exactly how I was last time and she was a week late! Fake laugh. Love your preggers belly!

You are absolutely gorgeous! We'll have to work on some really snarky comments for you to spout back . . .

Okay Paige if I lived closer I'd take you out to ICE CREAM right now! You keep eating those cones!

Why are people so RUDE?! I gained exactly 36 pounds with both of my pregnancies. I consumed large amounts of fudge and candy and honestly, when else in our lives do we feel okay about gaining weight? Not to mention, you look beautiful!

Anyway, go eat your ice cream! I'll have a bowl in honor of you tonight. :)

(And I LOVE the name!)

Paige, my mom told me about this post and I was dying to read it. I'm laughing so hard and can EXACTLY picture your fake smile!!!!! Miss you. I think you look so cute anyway.

P.S. Maybe you can start saying that your baby is too advanced for the fetal position and he prefers to stand straight up in the womb.
