Today we went to the pumpkin patch at our local nursery. James had a great time running around looking at all the pumpkins and kids. He even got very brave and ran through some of the tunnels that they had set up for the kids.
Some funny comments from our time at the pumpkin patch.
Kid #1: That kid (referring to James' strawberry birthmark) has a bump in his hair.
Kid #2: Yeah, a bump in his hair.
Kid #3: In his hair!
Kid #1: That is kinda unusual.
John and I couldn't help but chuckle at this group of young kiddos. So cute! Plus James was so busy watching them play around the pumpkin stage he didn't seem to mind them checking out his head.
Random Lady: Oh, you look so cute (referring to me). It looks like you smuggled a pumpkin under your shirt.
Ah, I am going to miss all these fantastic comments about my belly. We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch! Hooray for fall!
The following video is a quick glimpse at James' "talking". It is so cute...we just wish we knew what he was saying.

That was so cute I was laughing out loud. Seems like James knew what he was saying and it sounded like da....... so I assume he wanted John
to come in too. So cute!!
Has John been teaching him russian?
How cute. James sounded & looked like he had something very serious to say. Great pictures.
Best.video.ever! James absolutely knows what he's saying. Love it!
Can you please start doing some jumping jacks (or something) tomorrow afternoon? I picked that you'll have the baby on Wednesday and I totally want to win. Good news though! I accept cash money and all major credit cards. You're welcome. :)
My mom and I kept playing this over and over. 5 times minimum. Then we all talked about it at breakfast. That is the cutest video. He knows exactly what he is saying. And it's the same each time he says it. So cute!
Does the dog run through a tube like this at the dog park? Maybe that's what he's saying????
so cute! where did you go? we're trying to decide where to go and cox's farm seems almost TOO big.
We went to Nalls Produce at 7310 Beulah St in Alexandria. It is great because it is a small family run nursery. James loved it!
What fun pics of you all! Morgan may be getting a PhD in Materials Engineering, but he is minoring in Baby Communications, and is eager to translate Jame's talk at Thanksgiving.
No jumping jacks till the 9th! Then you can also throw in the butterfly stretch. But seriously, hope you are feeling well and that everything goes smoothly. Call if you need anything!
Love, Julia (and Morgan)
