Today the boys and I braved the flu clinic to try and get shots for both James and myself. We found a Tuesday morning clinic close by so we made appointments. The first 10 minutes we were in line James continued to fake cough and say very loudly, "I cough". I got a few weird looks from the mothers around us. So I said (a little louder so surrounding people could hear) "Stop your fake cough, you are not sick silly boy!". Then James would giggle. And I would feel a few less stares in our direction.
James was very brave, and stopped crying the instant the nurse handed him a lollipop. Then Luke started to fuss and she handed him one. Ah, silence! It is amazing what powers a lollipop has to soothe.
Below pictures of Luke's big boy room. For some reason I stuck with the same "aeronautical theme" as James room.

Funny story about a smart child and an even wiser Mom. I'm glad you both got your flu shots. Now, the day can only get better.
