I mean Wednesday. Is it really Wednesday? It feels like Tuesday. We are sleep deprived in the Turner household. Thank you James, we love you...but you drive us crazy!
Some funny parts of sleep deprivation:
1. I woke up to find James sleeping on the floor next to our bed in the middle of the night. No idea when he came in the room.
2. James slept through an entire shopping trip at Costco from the basket of the grocery cart.
3. Luke and Zion are the only ones who are well rested.
4. The days start to string together.
5. You start to do things you never thought you would do. Like sleep in the twin bed next to wiggly James, or let your child sleep for 6 hours on the floor because at least they were being quiet.
6. You try to be good like Super Nanny and just walk them back to bed...then John starts counting and gets to 232 times that he put James back in bed in one night. Yeah, that didn't work.
I hope this sleeping phase passes soon!
Some pictures from the past week.....
James teasing the girls by turning the piano off while they are playing. He thought he was hilarious. They didn't quite understand the humor.

John is always reading!
James and Luke sharing a quiet moment of play.
James is always up in Luke's business. Always.

I feel sleepy just hearing about all of James' up and downs at night. I love seeing the boys playing together. I hope James starts sleeping through the night so all the Turners will be rested.
232! Is that possible?
One thing I didn't know before having kids: Sleep deprivation does not end in infancy.
Okay, I swear I'm going to get on the ball and send you the Ferber book back. Hang in there.
Look at that cute, sweet little face, especially on the 3rd picture down. I can't believe you have any troubles with him from that sweet picture!
I love the picture of James and the girls at the piano. That is really funny and so truthful. As for the sleeplessness, maybe James misses his old room? Or a white noise machine? Whatever it is, I hope it passes and you can start sleeping normally again.
Sweet dreams, Julia
