Today we discovered a wonderful treasure off the GW parkway. We met some friends, ran like crazy and had a little picnic. Such a fun spot and perfect for this beautiful weather we are having. Both boys ran around for 2 hours, and then didn't want to leave. Thank goodness the mommies picked a time for us all to leave together to avoid potential meltdowns. Worked like a charm when we all got to run to our cars together.

Cute pictures! Oh, and I am just getting caught up on your blog (having a newborn makes me get really behind on stuff)! I was cracking up at the SLP "V" articulation cards one! There are so many bogus artic cards out there, it's not even funny! I can't tell you how many times I would put a card down for a child to identify and I would have to prompt them with the word to repeat because there's no way the child would know what it was (like "DAVE"). Ha! Not good practice for those kids who need to practice a word independently, without repeating. Ahh, you've brought out the ranting SLP in me. Haha. :)
