Mary had her 2 month visit today. She is staying right on her growth curve, weighing in at 12 pounds and 9 ounces (75%) and measuring 23.5 inches (95%). She was sweet as pie until the shots, but even then she was a brave girl and only cried a little. Her poor brothers, on the other hand, almost fell apart during the shots. They had been so proud to tell the doctor all about their beautiful baby sister and tell all the ways they help her. Then came the shots. I am not going to name names, but there was one brother screaming "why are they doing that to her?!?" over and over, while one brother plugged his ears and may have had a few tears. One brother may also have declared that his little sister would NOT be having any more shots. It is easy to see how much this little girlie is adored by her bothers.

What a dramatic visit to the doctor . Very sweet story.
It must have been crazy in the moment (I think I would have been crying too! ), but looking back what sweet memories of how protective they both are of her. Sweet kids.
What a funny story! It is going to be neat to see these three go through life together. Boys might be superheros, but sometimes the sweet girl in the bunny outfit will surprise you with her strength. Love, Julia
Such great big brothers Mary has! Thanks for sharing the love within your family through this sweet story. Missing you all. . . .
