They'll make a liar out of you every time.

Such it was with Miss Mary's first trip to the ER.  Hours of screaming resulted in a stop in North Carolina on our way home from the beach.  Poor girlie could not be soothed.  She was also refusing to eat.  

Little lady screamed so loud while checking her in I almost resorted to hand written messages...but since I was holding little miss a lot of gesturing and throwing of insurance cards was done instead.

Hours later when we finally saw the nurse practitioner....huge smiles.  "Just gas" was the diagnosis.  Really? "Serious gas".  Ok then.  Not sure what offended her so, but mercifully it hasn't happened again.

She was her smiley self, but her brothers were beside themselves from all the screaming.  Chick-fil-a and a dip in a hotel pool got them back on track.  Plus the next day we only had a couple hours left in our trip.  A non scheduled but necessary stop.
