Spoons and bathtime

James has a new tea set that his Nana gave him. He loves it! He and his cousin Abby played with a pink tea set at the beach this summer, and since then I have been wanting a little tea set for James. Well, he is a lucky boy and now the proud owner of a tea set. It is green, blue, yellow and red. There is not even a hint of pink, so it is perfect!

We were picking up our toys before bed one evening and two of the tea spoons had gone missing. The search by the adults had been futile, so Nana decided to go to the source. Nana asked, "James, where are your spoons?". He picked up the two remaining spoons off his tray and walked directly into the kitchen. Here he opened one of the drawers (note he can't see into the drawer because it is too high) and dropped his spoons in and closed the drawer. Upon further inspection of the drawer we found all four spoons. What a smart little guy!

Also on a side note James has decided that he hates bath time. He starts to cry the minute his feet touch the water, refuses to sit, and is really close to being able to climb out. Does anyone have any tricks to make bath time more fun?

Sounds like the Turners had a busy week. I know you will all enjoy the long weekend.

Hmm... I remember liking bath paints/crayons and tuper ware. Perhaps James would like playing with some of his favorite kitchen spoons or bowls in the tub? Good luck! ~ Auntie Julia

I don't really have tricks per say but I'd say just change up the toys every few days. Also, maybe sit in there with him a couple times until he is used to it again. We miss you, James!
