Today James had his 15 month check-up at his pediatrician's office. We love our pediatrician! James showed off his building skills and his ability to run around the office after a ball. He didn't feel the need to say anything during our visit, he also didn't want to point to any body parts when asked. So we didn't get to show off as much as we could have, but he still got a glowing review at his check-up.
Here are the stats:
Height: 33.5 inches (90%)
Weight: 25 pounds 13 ounces (75%)
Head Circumference: 19.25 inches (90%)

So on our way home James inevitably fell asleep so close to his nap time, so as usual I spun through a local drive through to procure James and I some lunch. Today I was hankering for a hamburger, so we had it our way at went to Burger King. James woke up when we got home, and was quite pleased when he realized he didn't have to wait for me to fix lunch. Look at that smile, I would do anything to see that smile!

He had a couple of bites of hamburger, but his favorite were the fries. I taught him how to dip them in ketchup and that was probably the coolest thing he had ever seen. He would dip the fry in ketchup and then suck it off, and then re-dip. He hasn't quite caught onto the "double dipping" concept, so be forewarned if you ever share condiments with him. He also really liked to play with my soda cup. By the time he got the cup it was empty, but he still enjoyed trying to drink from mommy's cup.

What a cute show-off happy smile and what a good doctor's report.
He is changing so fast.
What a big boy! That smile is just too cute!
I am SO happy you will feed your children fast food. I FULLY plan on being one of those moms that lets their kid enjoy the occasional happy meal. boo food police.
Love that cute little smile. He sure is growing fast. Paige, I got the pic you sent. Thank you, thank you !!!
Super-cute picture of James! I think most of us would melt for that sweet face. Morgan had the best fries the other day - I was sneaking them off his plate, they were so good. Yum! Auntie Julia
Okay, he looks so old and so cute!!!! Hey, the french fry thing is really good while waiting in restaurants, too. There's potato somewhere in there...
Holy cow, James is looking so big! Emily told me I needed to look at your alls pics. What a nice looking American family. hahaha. I hope you all are doing well.
SO ADORABLE!
my kids LOVE dipping fries in ketchup, and they love hamburgers too. especially anna. ANYtime we say we're going to a restaurant and ask what she might want, it's always the same answer: "a hamburger."
how is it that they know we're wanting them to perform at the doctor's office??? i swear, they are totally aware. they give you that look like "i am not a trick pony and will not be performing until we've exited the building." such obstinance!
