Today it was really hot outside. I mean really hot. So hot that I felt I might start melting. The high today was eighty-something...it may be a long summer. So to stay cool during our errands we stopped by our local 7/11 and picked up some slurpees. Mmmm! James has graduated to getting his own super small slurpee, and he is so proud drinking his cherry slurpee. He even wanted to showed it to our neighbors when we got out of the car.
Luke became very agitated right after our 7/11 stop. I think he may have been a little jealous he didn't get his own slurpee. He was licking my cup and trying so hard to get to my straw. So we got Luke his own very special treat. Watermelon. He LOVED it.

Who else do we know that was a huge fan of watermelon when he was an infant? He would start quivering as soon as he saw one. Looks like Luke is not about to be left out at treat time. Sounds like a fun day.
